18 attended Riverview planning session

Last Tuesday (December 15) eighteen persons attended the joint church leaders’ meeting and planning session at the Riverview Water Park function hall in Nangalisan, Tuba, Benguet. The church leaders meeting started at 10 am and ended at 5 pm. Brother Ernie Wagang presided the meeting until 3:30 pm. Then Brother Danny Oliva took over as presiding chairperson to tackle the evaluation of each ministry. In behalf of Midtown church, the leaders of the congregation is expressing her thanks to Maril Bayating and family for sponsoring the lunch and snacks during the forum and the planning session. Present last Tuesday December 15 at the Riverview Water Park activity were as follows: Ernie Wagang, Danny Oliva, Santiago (Dodoy) Sameon II, Jojo Ramos, Efren Colcol, Gaspar Baldo, Jr., Josias Aquino, Maril P. Jadormio Takes 3-day leave

Orlandino J. Jadormio, Jr., church secretary, takes a three - day leave beginning tomorrow December 21 up to Wednesday (December 23). Brother Orlan, as everyone calls him, will join the rest of the Jadormio family in Cainta Rizal this week. In his absence, brother Andy Bestre, one of the church’s evangelists and former secretary, takes over the functions of brother Jadormio. The congregation will surely miss the ever ready service of brother Orlan in all aspects of church’s work. - /12-20-2009

Balikbayan box arrives from Hongkong

One big “balikbayan” box arrived last week from Wanchai, Hong Kong. The big “balikbayan” box “containing used clothings and other items” was sent by brother Felix Olidan, Jr., through brother Jojo Ramos. Midtown church gives thanks to brother Felix Olidan, Jr., for “remembering” Midtown congregation even though he works abroad as a preacher. - /11-29-2009

Bokod and Midtown churches receive cash donations

Last Thursday (November 26) brothers Alan Po and Andy Bestre representing Bokod and Midtown churches received P10,000 as cash donations from brother Felix A. Bravo. The cash donations were intended for the victims of typhoon and landslides which struck Benguet and Baguio City last month. The above congregations give thanks to brother Felix A. Bravo, who now works fulltime with Tarlac church that assembles in Teresa Homes, Tibag, Tarlac City, Tarlac. - /11-29-2009
