Vigan City in Ilocos Sur is MARCH for Christ’s target for joint mission in June, 2010. A survey team led by Shemer Sameon and others from Midtown church, Centrepoint church, La Trinidad church and Rosales, Carmen Pangasinan visited the city last week. Those coming from Midtown church were as follows: Julius Rojo, Lem Glori, Ruth Trinidad, Rose Go, Lani Palaypayon among others. The WBS team led by Alex Coloma, Emilio Panday and others distributed about 1000 tracts/WBS lessons. 75 prospects were gathered from that survey-visit. - /03-14-2010

Sameon-Ciencia was hospitalized due to a broken tendon. The congregation gave him cash gift of P1, 000. 00 last week through the B/V ministry and Orlan Jadormio, Jr. Also, cash gift of P1,000. 00 was given to Leonardo Magadang of Tabuk church in Kalinga in behalf of his “emotionally imbalanced” wife after returning from work in Riyadh some years ago. Next week, about 300 students of the Tuba Central National High School in Poblacion Tuba will receive certificates of attendance from Midtown church. The teaching of values to the high students of TCNHS is a joint project of Midtown church and the TCNHS administration. Signatories of the certificates are Arnan A. Bayla, McCarthy Malanes, TCNHS Principal and the teacher of the class. This program is on its second year of implementation beginning school year 2008 - 2009. - /03-07-2010

Brother Jojo Ramos is slated to talk on “Keeping the Saved Safe from Peer Evil Influences,” on April 1, Thursday at 8 - 9:30 am at the Regional Fellowship to be held in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.
