 Adrian Teo, one of the elders of Pasir Panjang
church in Singapore spoke to the congregation on
two occasions last week.
October 9, elder Teo spoke to the leaders of the
congregation, particularly to the nominees for
elders and deacons. Fellowship dinner followed
after the lecture and open forum.
Accompanying elder Teo were his wife Doreen;
Swee Aun Lim, a deacon of the same
congregation; Chito Cusi, other officers and
personnel of March for Christ, Inc.
Then Sunday morning (October 11) elder Teo
preached to the congregation on “Being A Servant
of Christ.”

 An SMS or text message received from
brother Santiago (Dodoy) Sameon II last
October 5 divulged 45 baptisms in Samar
and Leyte as results of the evangelistic
campaign held there last month.
Brother Sameon said that there were 16
more who responded to the invitation call
last week, but owing to the coming typhoon
- their baptisms were not done that day.
God be praised for the success of the
evangelistic campaign in Eastern Visayas.
Midtown church is requested to pray for
the safe return of brother Sameon and his
wife Sarah to Baguio City. - /10-16-2009

 No definite date yet - but the young people
plan to do a garage sale and food fest
soon.
Purpose of the above plan is to raise
funds for the typhoon and flood victims
who are members of the Lord’s church in
Metro-Manila and other affected areas.
Church members, particularly the young
people are urged to bring in clothes,
kitchen utensils, toys, used gadgets, etc., to
the church’s assembly hall.
Also, ladies may cook meals and sell
them during this event. The proceeds from
the sale can be donated to the typhoon and
flood victims.
Date and time of the meeting will be announced/
relayed to each of the young people

 Come Friday (October 9) at 6 pm brother Adrian of
Pasir Panjang congregation in Singapore will speak on
BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP based on I Timothy 3:
1-13 and Titus 1:5-9 at Midtown church’s assembly
hall.
Participating in this activity are the nominees for
elders, deacons and their families.
Invited to join this rare opportunity to hear a Singaporean
church’s leader are the participants of the couples’
