Nangalisan church increased in number

Last November 4, (Wednesday) a couple and 2 students were added to the church in Nangalisan, Tuba, Benguet. Those immersed into Christ after completing the seeker’s lessons were Norman and Evelyn Muega; Alex Alionas and Erick Alicnas, both are single and students who are residents of Ambiong, La Trinidad, Benguet. Come November 29, Sixto Aoas and Bonnie Marcelo will hold a symposium for the congregation on “Restoring Erring, Inactive and Lukewarm Members.” Midtown church rejoices with the Nangalisan Christians for the increase in their membership and prays for their continued spiritual development. - /11-15-2009

Bravo is Pasasalamat Day speaker

Felix Abubo Bravo, who now works as an evangelist in Tarlac City, Tarlac, is Midtown church’s 26th year anniversary speaker on December 13. Bravo was the Director of Philippine Bible College, Baguio City before his retirement in 1983. That year he started a congregation at the YMCA Conference Hall along Session Road. One year later, with the coming of David Statophulo, the Sameons, the Reyeses, the Olivas, Ruth Trinidad and others, Midtown church was formally established. C o m e D e c e m b e r 1 3 - t h e “Pasasalamat” Day celebration activities will be divided as follows:
Part 1 - Worship Service, 9 - 10: 30 AM
Part II - Recognition 10 - 11: 30 AM
Part III - Lunch and Fellowship. 12 - 1:30 PM
Part IV - Indoor Games/Sports Activities. 2 - 4 PM

4 balikbayan boxes arrived from Canada

Four “balikbayan” boxes containing used clothes, toys and teaching materials recently arrived from Canada. These boxes were sent by Dr. Samuel B. Cariaga through brother Jojo Ramos for distribution among members in Midtown, Bokod and Centre Point churches. Midtown church and others are expressing their gratitude to Dr. Samuel B. Cariaga for the “balikbayan” boxes he sent. - /11-15-2009

Spritual Harvest on Dagupan City, Pangasinan.

Four persons came forward and signified their desires to obey Christ in baptism last Sunday (November 1) in Dagupan City. Brother Danny Oliva preached on baptism during the worship service. The immersion took place in Lingayen beach, Lingayen, Pangasinan after the worship assembly. Added to the Dagupan City church were as follows - Brandon L. Bancod, 17, Valledeen L. Bancod, 15, Marie Quism und o, 32 an d Kathleen Quismundo, 12. The Bancods are from Quibaol, Lingayen, Pangasinan while the Quismundos are from Calmay, Dagupan City - /11-08-2009
