 The Golden Ladies club general meeting was held at the Philippine Bible College library last Dec. 17,2011, which was participated by some golden ladies coming from Midtown, A-Hill, 18 Rimando Road, Centerpoint and City Camp congregations.
The event commenced by a prayer followed by a welcome address by sis Ruth L. Trinidad, organization president while the vice president, Shawn Corpuz and PRO Elvie Sacayanan presented the plaque of appreciation to the guest speaker, Dr. Sophia Tanicala, senior citizen specialist.  Last Jan.4, a group of five comprising of brn: Shemer Emoldwayne M. Sameon, Lemuel L. Glori, Gaspar Baldo, Dodoy B. Sameon II and Jojo V. Ramos shuttled to Pinged, Poblacion Bokod and Pito where bible studies were conducted in these places.
Brn. Dodoy and Jojo teamed and conducted a discovery bible study co-assisted by bro. Jojo at the Poblacion, while brn. EmolDwayne, Lemuel and Gaspar proceeded to Pinged and assembled in study with the brethren in that area. In the afternoon the teams from Pinged and Poblacion moved to Pito and they shared in a bible study facilitated by bro. Matthew.
That evening, while enroute to Baguio, they assembled with the brethren in Pingkan Jo and bro. Gaspar led the singing just like in Pito, during the bible study facilitated by bro Dodoy which the group co-assisted by sharing in the discussions. - Dodoy B. Sameon II/01-10-2012

 The 1st seminar-workshop on strategic planning was held at the Midtown Church Assembly Hall last Dec.20,2011 from 9 A.M. -5 P.M. Sarah M. Sameon did the registration of the 29 participants. The activity started with an invocation by bro. Santiago B. Sameon II. and thereafter bro. Greg Kitma set the tone of the activity as introduction, before bro. Arnan A. Bayla presented the old Midtown church mission-vision caption. Prior the morning break, discussions and brainstormings were pursued by the group to improve and enhance the earlier church mission statement.
Later, bro. Ernie A. Wagang presented the assessment of Midtown church’s existing 11 ministries. After a lengthy discussion, a reorganization of the ministries became imperative. Some ministries were retained and others were merged thus forming 8 ministries with the different brn. as chairpersons: (1) Administrative/Finance – Ernie A. Wagang and Maril Bayating (2) Education – Arnan A. Bayla (3) Youth Affairs – Lemuel L. Glori (4) Ladies Affairs –Ruth L. Trinidad (5) Edification/Benevolence –Andy Bestre (6) Evangelism/Couples/Caregroup- Greg Kitma (7) Prayer/Visitation/Counseling- Santiago B. Sameon II (8) Mission Outreach – Shemer Emoldwayne M. Sameon.
Following the luncheon break, the participants were divided into 4 small groups after the presentation of previous roles of the varied ministries by bro. Jojo V. Ramos. Each group was assigned to 2 ministries to brainstorm and do reports related to the general functions and roles. Thererafter bro. Ernie Wagang was assigned to chair the election of various officers of reorganized ministries.
A 2nd Strategic planning workshop was held again at the Midtown assembly hall last Jan. 3,2012 from 12:00 noon to P.M.5:00 which commenced with a prayer by bro. Ernie A. Wagang. A good number of facilitators and participants were in attendance. It proceeded with the presentation of the strategic planning outputs of the previous workshop, which were done by brn. Arnan A. Bayla and Andy Bestre.
Later, bro. Greg Kitma oriented the group in constructing SMART goals and in identifiying the church 3 year goals. After which, the formed groups brainstormed, discussed, classified, and summarized, the outputs to enhance the goals, which the groups presented at the outset of their group activities.
The action planning format and strategy to be utilized by the different ministries and action planning workshops for the various ministries were tackled prior the benediction by Danny Oliva. The Ad Hoc members met afterwards to finalize the workshop outputs. - Sarah M. Sameon/01-10-2012

 Last Dec.11,2011, Midtown church celebrated her 28th anniversary Foundation day inside the Marlett’s building worship hall, located along Marcos Hi-Way. Highlight of the affair included the testimonial message of bro. Art Tacay, an active Midtown member who greatly helps the Bokod mission, which was followed by the State of the church address (SOCA) by bro. JoJo Ramos, one of the pillars of (M.O.M.).
After the worship brn. Greg Kitma, chairperson of the Evangelism Ministry gave certificates to baptized members for 2011, Arnan A. Bayla, chairman of the Education of Midtown Ministry, bestowed gift awards to all Midtown Sunday school teachers and Andy Bestre, Edification Ministry chair presented awards to other members who served in various capacities, which was provided by the church. Shemer EmolDWayne Sameon, Chairperson of Mission Outreach Ministry (M.O.M.), also presented gifts to all tenacious participants involved in the outreach missions, which he and his family provided, while sis. Rosita Go also offered gifts to key workers not to mention the holiday gifts she also extended to all the members of Midtown weeks earlier.
Intermission numbers during the Part II Activity included: the Pasir Panjang Youths who rendered songs and skit, Midtown church Youth, Nangalisan church, and Consuelo Homes youths. Emcees of the momentous affair were brn. Ernie A. Wagang and Gaspar Baldo, while Josias A. Aquino served as songleader
Part III, was the serving of the Sumptuous meals which the brethren prepared, spearheaded by the Bayatings, which were enjoyed by everyone. After the lunch fellowship, Fun games led by sis. Pearl Bestre assisted - Sarah & Dodoy B. Sameon II/12-13-2011
